REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to read and write at high school level, must have passed the written and clinical tests as required by OBRA, and be currently enrolled in the PA Nurse Aide Registry in good standing at the time of hiring. If candidate goes through our Nurse Aide Training Program at this facility, they must pass the course and also pass the clinical testing, and within four months of hire, must have passed the PA written and clinical competency exams as required by OBRA.

JOB SUMMARY: This position exists to provide humanitarian assistance to the residents of Providence Pointe at Parkhouse in compliance with state and federal regulations. The nurse aide provides all activities of daily living, including lifting, transfers, ambulation, bed making, nutrition and psychological needs. Must be able to verbally communicate with the residents as well as the nurses and aides on the units to provide safety and continuity of care. Is also responsible for daily nurse aide documentation.

SALARY:
$20,212 until successful completion of training period (approximately 2-3 months), at which time annual salary will increase to $27,769. Shift premium is paid for those working the 3 PM to 11 PM and the 11 PM to 7 AM shifts.   For part-time and Pool hourly rates, please, contact Human Resources at the telephone number listed below.
